Above the island, two pendant lights hang, tying in some of the darker tones to the otherwise white upper half of the room. The wood range hood creates architectural interest over a Wolfe cooktop. A pot filler faucet is mounted within the hexagon Carrera marble accent tile. The rest of the backsplash is a classic Carrera marble in a subway tile shape. To finish it off, the natural maple hardwood floors bring a lightness to the room that offers the perfect in-between of the dark wood and bright white cabinets.
