Jodi, JRP Design and Remodel’s First Impression Specialist, is often the first contact for clients when they call, email, or visit JRP. From providing administrative support to the JRP team to communicating with clients in a positive, helpful manner, Jodi’s admirable focus and adaptability are key to clients’ first impressions of JRP.
Jodi has always been drawn to a career where she could work directly with people in a team-oriented environment. She is a capable liaison for JRP departments and outside agencies, answers client inquiries and provides timely information, schedules consultations, manages appointments, and handles a variety of special projects.
In her free time, Jodi enjoys walking and hiking, hanging out with close friends, and doing anything and everything with her kids and granddaughter.
Judi is inspired by the fast-paced nature of the design team where no day is ever the same. She’s a quick and creative thinker who loves how interior design changes the way people feel about where they live.
Coming from a fashion design and business school her keen sense of style and love for both creating and re-imagining beautiful interior spaces led her to be a visual merchandiser. In 2012 an interior design opportunity came knocking – she took it, loved it, and never looked back.
Judi has 7 years of interior design experience with a mix of hospitality in both the residential and commercial industries. Her love for the interior design industry is endless. Every job is a new adventure where she gets to use her creativity to turn ideas into reality. The idea of clients making memories in the spaces she’s helped create fulfills her personal and professional goals.
When not in the office, Judi loves to travel where she can explore new cities and absorb different cultures. She appreciates being outdoors where she can hike and immerse herself in nature. Judi also enjoys yoga, trying new food places, and binge-watching TV.
Ariana loves problem-solving and managing finances because numbers are black and white; they make sense. She started working in finance while she was in high school, becoming familiar with all the departments, developing new skills, and being helpful however she was needed. As an AP/AR Specialist, Ariana’s critical thinking, communication, and time management skills are indispensable as she assists with a variety of essential responsibilities including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
Outside of work, Ariana loves to spend time with her close-knit family, including her husband and godson. She enjoys working out and likes exploring new healthy food ideas.
Brent had a love for building things from an early age, and he quickly learned he had the talent for it. That talent and passion transitioned him into a lifelong career in the construction business. As an Air Force veteran of the Gulf War era, Brent brings considerable leadership and strategic skills to the team.
After his eight years of military service, Brent earned a degree in Management, graduating with honors. Brent brings these skills, along with nearly three decades of experience in the construction industry, to his position. During his years in construction, Brent has continually welcomed greater responsibility in each successive position, developing an expertise in management, technical and communication skills, as well as hands-on production work.
When Brent isn’t working, he cherishes time with his wife and loves enjoying great food, watching football, and getting time in at the gym.
Mikey received his Bachelor of Architecture from the New School of Architecture in San Diego, CA. His ability to produce 3D designs in SketchUp, Chief Architect, AutoCad, Rhino 3D, and 3D Renders is second to none. With a burning interested in conceptual ideas and how to make them realistic, Mikey is a constant innovator within the industry. He is also a published author of an Architectural Design book. As part of JRP, Mikey dedicates his time to creating exceptional designs for our clients.
In his spare time Mikey enjoys designing residential complexes and architectural sketching.
Lori maintains the financial stability and critical operations of JRP Design and Remodel. She has considerable experience in the construction industry; her father is a commercial contractor, and she managed a luxury-home general contractor’s office for nearly 20 years before helping to create JRP Design & Remodel. Besides her extensive experience in construction Lori has also studied business at California Lutheran University and worked as a licensed notary for 12 years. She is also a licensed real estate broker who has sold 98 homes and has assisted hundreds of borrowers in executing loan documents. These experiences are just a few things that make Lori so valuable to JRP Design & Remodel and it’s cliental.
In 2004, Lori met Justin and their connection was instant. They have been building their business and their family ever since. Lori’s keen business sense is invaluable to JRP. By combining her unmatched knowledge with her own creative marketing strategies, Lori has taken JRP from a small business to a respected brand. Her tireless efforts have built JRP’s strong foundation, processes and system functions into a precise and efficient machine. Lori can expertly perform any role in the company and is always working to take JRP to the next level by creating a company culture that is professional and genuinely friendly.
Lori loves the water and spends her free time boating, fishing, kayaking, paddle boarding, water skiing, and seashell hunting.
Alana joined JRP as Accounting Manager after developing impressive skills during many years of financial and managerial roles. She believes you tend to love the things you are good at, and Alana loved problem-solving. Accounting to her is black and white – there’s always an answer if you are willing to do the research. Her first accounting job was with a plumbing company as a bookkeeper’s assistant. She now has her degree in accounting and has accumulated over 20 years of accounting experience.
Alana partners with the Controller and collaborates with the leadership team. She is responsible for the hands-on management of JRP’s accounting processes, including the development of controls to maximize efficiency and transparency. She provides accounting support to major financial accounting areas, including accounts payable and accounts receivable. She works directly with trade contractors, vendors, Project Managers, and other employees to ensure accurate accounting costs and job costs.
When she’s not at work, Alana enjoys spending her free time with her family; this includes hiking adventures, hosting family gatherings, and barbeques. Inspired by the food channel she’s become a big-time foodie who enjoys experiencing new dishes in restaurants and creating them at home in her kitchen.
Emily has always had a strong passion for business and people. After receiving her Bachelor’s Degree, she pursued business and sales for ten years. She progressed into multi-unit sales management and drove business growth through managing direct sales, profit and loss, client relationships, employee relations and marketing efforts.
Emily’s success is driven by her loyalty and dedication. She approaches every task with attention to detail and integrity. Her passion for business growth and people led her to JRP, where she serves as a foundational piece for JRP’s continued growth forward.
Emily is a proud mother of one baby boy. She enjoys spending time with family, going on outdoor adventures, and traveling.
From a young age, Kristin was fascinated by the “built” environment. In playing with Legos and creating Barbie houses out of clothing boxes, she discovered how design can transform a house into a home. This love of building and design moved Kristin to earn her Master of Interior Architecture through UCLA Extension. She is an Allied member of the American Society of Interior Designers. Her professional experience includes space planning, FF&E Selection, project management, creating construction documents, AutoCAD, and experience as a studio designer.
Good communication is essential to the success of a project. That starts with knowing how to listen. Kristin strives to give her clients a space that will meet their functional needs. She also recognizes the importance of using her expertise to guide their creativity without pushing an agenda that doesn’t serve them.
She’s an avid tennis player and enjoys discovering new restaurants with friends. She’s a firm believer that you can’t go wrong with good cheese, bread, and wine!
As a young girl, Nicole had an unusual idol in Canadian interior designer Candice Olsen. Since that time, Nicole has developed her own skills as an artist and designer into a rewarding career. Nicole earned a Bachelor of Arts in Art from California Lutheran University and studied baroque painting in the United States and throughout Europe. Today, Nicole is working toward an interior design certificate at University of California, Los Angeles.
Before joining the team at JRP Design and Remodel, Nicole designed hotels for such notable hospitality brands as Radisson, Hilton, and Marriott. She is passionate about creating beautiful and functional spaces and works with clients to achieve their perfect design. Nicole’s love of painting informs her work as a designer through her use of color, texture, and composition. Her artistic background and strong computer and drafting skills allow her to communicate design ideas clearly and accurately for superb results.
In her free time, Nicole enjoys painting, wine tasting, cooking, traveling, and skiing double black diamond trails.
Michelle fell in love with the creative process at an early age. For her, art-making in any medium has always been magical and incredibly rewarding. At one time she studied graphic design, however, after a lackluster semester she felt disenchanted. All it took to regain that spark was one color theory class. In studying the relationships between colors and discovering how schemes can play against designs, she saw endless possibilities. She soon switched her focus and earned her Associate’s Degree in Interior Design and Planning. Michelle also holds a Bachelors of Arts in Business Management.
Working for an architectural millwork company was her first introduction to the construction world. Seeing drawings and samples of products used in high-end Las Vegas casinos was inspiring. Her next job at an energy efficiency company opened the door to building science where she learned about new home construction geared toward zero net energy use. However, it was in her first design assistant role with a semi-custom home builder that Michelle completely fell in love with the home creation process. Helping home buyers select their finishes was the perfect way to combine her vast knowledge and experience up to that point.
Through the seasons of her career, the unifying aspect has been customer service. She is passionate about providing an elevated experience for clients. Her innate ability to build trust through connection and clear communication has served her well professionally and continues to be the foundation of her interaction with the team and our clients today.
Michelle is an avid locavore and pop culture enthusiast who enjoys exploring nearby events, eateries, and farmer’s markets. Her favorite way to spend a weekend is adventuring with her husband and two Boston Terrier “fur-kids.”
As a young girl, Corey loved using Legos to design and build dollhouses. She would spend countless hours with her father, a custom homebuilder, asking him questions about the nuts and bolts of building. Upon graduating high school, Corey knew just what she wanted to do and enrolled directly in The Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising of Los Angeles to earn her degree in interior design.
Today, Corey still loves creating home spaces, large and luxurious or small and cozy. Corey understands that the key to helping people is listening well, then asking in-depth questions, to arrive at the real goals and desires of every client, with this level of attention Corey can ensure clients achieve their perfect design.
In her leisure time, Corey loves spending time with family, friends, and her puppy, Reese.
With 30 years of experience in new construction, remodeling, and sales, Jeff understands the value of working as part of a strong team. Jeff is passionate about making his clients’ dream homes become their reality. Having built over 100 completed homes in just two years, he knows the process requires a commitment to excellence in communication, making sound decisions, and finding solutions for complex problems. Meeting his clients’ expectations is his priority, and he always makes himself available to answer any questions.
Jeff is devoted to being a good father and husband, and when he has free time he spends it with his family. He also enjoys snowboarding and going to the gym.
Hayley has a passion and love for design. She has her Associates in Architecture and a Bachelors of Arts in Interior Design. Her experience with interior furnishings at Restoration Hardware, partnered with her architectural and design background, make her an invaluable addition to the team. Hayley is a team player, takes pride in her work, and is excited for the opportunity to bring our clients’ visions to life.
In her free time, she enjoys traveling to new places and trying new things. Hayley loves keeping active by playing tennis, hiking, and running!
A creative visionary, Justin’s designs emphasize functionality, distinction, and sustainability. By tapping into his lifetime of experience, Justin can unleash the real potential of any space. From a young age, his construction and design ingenuity were quickly shaped by watching his parents purchase, design and remodel properties before listing them on the market. As a young man, Justin was managing his parent’s construction projects and by the age of 25 had become a licensed contractor. His love of creating highly functional and visually stunning projects, combined with his fierce work ethic and extensive knowledge exemplifies the spirit of a successful remodeling entrepreneur. He has made JRP Design and Remodel a recognized brand of excellence and distinction in the Conejo Valley.
Through years of experience and attention to detail, Justin has developed an unequaled process that ensures excellent and consistent results every time. Each project is a unique reflection of the individual client.
Justin has earned prestigious certificates and awards within the remodeling industry including Certified Remodeler (CR) and Certified Aging-In-Place Specialist (CAPS) and Universal Design Certified Professional. He and his staff have also appeared on HGTV’s Room Crashers.
Justin’s leadership is the backbone of JRP Design and Remodel, a company he built on the core values of dedication, integrity, and accountability. He is proud of the reputation JRP has earned, and he works tirelessly to preserve it.
Justin enjoys fishing and spending time with his wife, two children, and extended family.
Grant loves building, crafting, and working with his hands. He began learning the construction business at a very young age and has worked in the industry professionally for nearly two decades. He built and proudly owned his own business for 10 years. Holding a business degree from Hope International University, Grant’s expertise is in business and construction management and plumbing.
Grant’s success is driven by his loyalty and dedication. He approaches every job with attention to detail and integrity to ensure each clients’ project is realized.
Grant has been happily married for 12 years. He enjoys spending time with his wife and their two children, camping, and working on cars and home improvement projects.
A graduate of Stanford University, Emily has worked on renovation projects of the prestigious Beverly Hills Hotel and the Promenade at Westlake. She holds a BS in industrial engineering and a type A general contractor’s license.
Emily’s family has been in the construction business for four generations, and she has continued the legacy. She has worked as a project engineer, an estimating assistant, and a financial accountant. Her skill with numbers makes her an invaluable asset to the JRP team.
Emily is a proud mother of three happy kids. She spends her free time taking care of family, volunteering with her church.
Vinny’s early years laid the groundwork for his career in the construction industry. He grew up playing with Legos and his father’s tools, and some of his first memories are working on building sites with his grandfather. Learning the importance of dedication and a strong work ethic at such a young age served Vinny well, and those values continue to hold true today.
His years as a computer technician, customer service representative, and salesman taught Vinny the valuable skills that shaped a crew member into a strong team leader. He is also a National Association of the Remodeling Industry (NARI) Verified Production Manager.
As production manager for JRP, Vinny is responsible for the entire construction process. Vinny takes personal pride in his work and builds each job as if it were his home. His loyalty and commitment mean he always reaches the end goal. Vinny thrives with creative flexibility and hands-on time in the field. With a broad understanding of construction and unsurpassed communication and problem-solving skills, Vinny is an integral part of the team. He enjoys his job immensely and is devoted to continued success in helping each JRP client bring their dreams to life.
Vinny spends his free time with his wife and taking care of his family.
