Classy and sophisticated, this Westlake transitional master bathroom comes alive with Striato Olimpo “leather” tile in a modern and dramatic chevron pattern. Although a relatively small space, the bathroom was made to feel larger by utilizing a lighter color palette. Installing a frameless shower and adding a barn door also helped to open the space up. This left plenty of room for a large soaking tub.
The JRP team transformed what was once a small and outdated space with beige and gold accents into a beautiful and modern master bath retreat. Traditional inspiration and a monochromatic color palette coupled with contemporary flair and industrial barn doors give balance and contrast. The use of marble and chrome plus the natural light streaming in allows this space to feel luxurious and rich without sacrificing brightness or the subtle hints of glam. A detached chrome bathtub faucet creates architectural interest as well as adds another modern element to the space. The half tiled walls anchor the tub and open up the top half of the room, making it feel spacious.
The owners of this new and improved master bathroom love their new space. They are thankful for the creative solutions JRP could provide them for a smaller master bathroom. With style and sophistication, these clients were able to achieve the Westlake transitional master bath of their dreams.
