Transitional Mediterranean
Camarillo
This home celebrates a transitional Mediterranean design in its spacious open concept great room. Originally, the space lacked the style and sophistication the clients were looking for. The kitchen was cramped and did not take advantage of the available space. It also felt dated and dark, calling for a complete gut and remodel. The JRP team stepped in for the job.
The spacious kitchen boasts a walk-in pantry, large center island overlooking the family room, and custom wine closet. This stylish kitchen is a real beauty to behold with its use of bold patterns and complementary textures. The combination of the mosaic of Kasbah Trellis tiles mixed with a herringbone backsplash is very unique. It draws the eye to the architecturally pleasing custom plaster hood which gives the room Mediterranean flare.
Its all in the details! Gorgeous Jeld-Wen picture windows span the length of the room. As a result, this bathes this beautiful entertaining and living space in golden natural light. Two-tone cabinetry and solid-surface countertops are stand out features. This is especially true when combined with natural wood textures and a pleasingly soft base palette of beige neutrals. The custom-designed linear chandelier over the center island plays to the strengths of the room, highlighting the airspace. A stacked stone fireplace further enhances the allure of the home’s transitional Mediterranean design.
