Spanish Revival
Camarillo
Inspired by nostalgia and necessity, this charming kitchen blends old world inspiration with a contemporary lightness and functionality. Doing so creates a distinct design that pays homage to all the traditional elements of authentic Spanish Revival architecture.
Rustic and rich woods on the center island and window frames give the space a warm, traditional feel. The delicate pendant lights, with the show-stopping tin ceiling detail, adds contemporary architectural interest while drawing the eye upward. The seafoam blue subway tile backsplash, with intricate Spanish style tiles behind the stove, stand out against a classic white backdrop. To match the white cabinets, white Caesarstone Calcutta countertops contrast with the dark wood and red-hued floors. These countertops are both traditional and modern. Plush details such as the blue bar chairs create a warmth for which the style is known for. Despite being a juxtaposition, the modern stainless steel appliances blend seamlessly with the space’s traditional design, bringing the old world to the new world.
This Spanish revival kitchen is certainly a space that both the JRP team and the clients can be proud of. Not one detail or expense was spared when creating this dream house. It is a perfect blend of old and new in this Southern California home.
