Classic Mediterranean
Thousand Oaks
This ranch-style home underwent a whole-house transformation, giving it a classic-California Mediterranean blend. To start, the JRP team placed El Dorado Stone accents on the face of the home to maximize its curb appeal. From there, an expanded pathway accented with sweet water flagstone ushers guests to the new custom arched front door by Jeld Wen. Walking through the native landscaping layered with a vast array of indigenous succulents provides a delightful flow to the entry. JRP carefully selected the landscaping to be drought-tolerant, but still add much-needed lushness and greenery to the space. Last, the existing concrete driveway was replaced by Belgard concrete pavers. They contrast beautifully with the light and muted smooth troweled stucco.
Originally, the mix of simple siding and a brick-lined driveway on this builder-grade home exterior was bland. They did nothing to help the home stand out in the neighborhood. Similarly, the large front yard didn’t boast much curb appeal with its minimal landscaping. It’s safe to say this home was standard and in need of a lot of attention. After the exterior facelift, this home now has a unique personality and a welcoming atmosphere. This Classic Mediterranean facade went from ordinary to unforgettable with an exterior makeover designed by the JRP team.
