As we welcome spring and the grounding calm of the coast, we’re pleased to introduce our newest modern coastal vacation remodel. Thoughtfully designed for relaxation, gathering, and effortless living, the home embodies a quiet sense of ease. A true Nancy Meyers inspired retreat, where timeless comfort meets light-filled coastal elegance.
This California waterside vacation home transformation blends soft blue cabinetry, warm brass accents, and layered natural materials, thoughtfully selected to reflect the environment without overpowering it. Every decision was guided by a desire to enhance natural light, improve flow, and create a sense of effortless ease throughout the home.

THE DESIGN APPROACH
Designed to welcome natural light into the home, this private sanctuary translates a sense of calm and relaxation. Mixing a palette of coastal colors, marble stone, bleached oak, and warm brass accents.
By opening up the layout and removing a large fireplace separating the kitchen and living room, we created a more natural flow that supports both everyday living and entertaining. At the heart of the home, the kitchen was reimagined as a central gathering space. Brighter, more cohesive, and highly functional, it now serves as a place where daily routines and meaningful moments naturally come together.
Inspiration and 3D DESIGN
A Personal touch
Inspired by their travels, the homeowners sought to weave meaningful moments into the design, drawing from distinctive details discovered along the way.
A custom glass door, delicately etched with a sea-inspired motif, was installed at the kitchen entry. The sea lion design introduces a layer of artistry and character, while quietly anchoring the space to cherished memories of the coast.
